Pupnat is the smallest village on the island of Kor鑥la, just 12 km from Kor鑥la town. Local bus lines connect it with both Kor鑥la and Vela Luka. Although Pupnat has no tourist accommodation capacities, its beautiful beach in the cove of Pupnatska Luka, located southeast of Pupnat on the southern coast of the island of Kor鑥la, is well worth visiting.
Pupnatska Luka is a deep cove surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation, reachable by a narrow asphalt road. The pebble beach deep into the cove is regularly selected among the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic sea.
Situated by the main road in Pupnat, the restaurant Mate is famed for its excellent food inventively prepared with locally-grown ingredients. The restaurant's specialties include ravioli with goat cheese in sage sauce and rosemary sorbetto. A number of home-made liqueurs are on offer as well, the favorite ones being those made of red wine and orange. In Pupnatska Luka you can also find a small snack bar, Mate II, serving cold snacks and sandwiches.
