®rnovo sits in an inland location, 4 km west of Korčula town. The coves of ®rnovska Banja and Tri ®ala, lying to its north, offer their visitors tourist accommodation in apartments and holiday homes. Due to favorable winds in the channel between Korčula and Pelje¹ac, ®rnovska Banja has become a favorite windsurfers’ destination.
To the north of ®rnovo, just above the Vrbovica cove, a special forest reserve called Kočje has found its place. Naturally protected from strong winds, it is the site of 30 m high dolomite rocks forming corridors, small caves and narrow passages. The rocks are home to two water springs, the bigger one called The Fairy’s Spring (Vilin izvor) for its purity and limpidity. In terms of the flora, the area is rich in holm-oak and the humid soil is covered with ferns.
®rnovo is composed of several hamlets, namely: Prvo selo, Brdo, Kampu¹ and Prostrana. The eastern part of the island of Korčula is rich in high-quality limestone, so ®rnovo has a long stone-carving tradition.
Just like many other old places on the island of Korčula, ®rnovo has preserved its tradition of the sword dance, which in ®rnovo is called Mo¹tra and is performed in summer.
®rnovska Banja lies 4 km west of the town of Korčula and 2 km north of ®rnovo. The cove boasts a couple of pebble beaches, as well as several restaurants and a store. ®rnovska Banja is a favorite destination of windsurfers who benefit of the favorable winds in the channel between Korčula and Pelje¹ac.
®rnovska Banja is an ideal choice for those seeking accommodation in a peaceful cove just a heartbeat away from the town of Korčula.

We have been on Mljet island with your agency. That was a really nice combination of history, culture, great nature and fantastic tour leaders.
