General terms for providing accommodation services

The following General Terms of Service are an integral part of the Agreement/Voucher for Services negotiated between the Mediterano d.o.o. Tourist Agency, Obala 3 br. 2, Vela Luka, (hereafter referred to as the Agency) and the travel contractor (hereafter referred to as the Traveller).

General terms for providing accommodation services

Accommodation in lighthouses can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday in high season. From September to June, accommodation can be booked for shorter terms in all lighthouses except Palagruza and Susac.

All lighthouses (except Rt zub, Prisnjak, Plocica and Sv. Petar) have lighthouse keepers.
Cellular phones can be used in all lighthouses.

Every apartment has a TV and a SAT-TV receiver.

All washroom facilities have showers. Guests have at their disposal 2 smaller and 2 larger towels per apartment.

Kitchens are equipped with sinks, stoves with oven and refrigerators.
Guests must bring groceries, spices and the like.
All bedrooms have beds with mattresses, sheets and two blankets per bed.

Travel cancellation insurance conditions

It is recommended that during reservation the Traveller purchase a Travel Cancellation Insurance Policy to guard against the possibility of trip cancellation. 

Rent a Boat

General Terms of Service

For all boat groups the minimum age for drivers is 21 years. A valid boat driving licence must be presented together with a passport or an acceptable national identity card.

On collection, all boats will have a full tank of petrol and should be returned as such, otherwise the difference in fuel spent will be charge, plus 50 kunas refuelling expanses. Security deposit is obligated.

Mediterano Tourist Agency reserves the right to change or cancel the reservation under unforeseen circumstances or owing to circumstances beyond our control. If replacement cannot be found, Mediterano Tourist Agency reserves the right to cancel reservation. Deposit paid in advance will be returned !

Car rental

General Terms of Service

Our prices include:
CDW + TP insurance, unlimited kilometers, taxes, free parking ticket in Vela Luka, free
delivery/collection inside Vela Luka, map of Korcula island.
CDW: Collision Damage Waiver in case of accident or vandalism. TP: Theft Protection.
CDW + TP reduce clients liability to the amount of 3000,00 kunas.
(CDW does not cover damage done to chassis, tyres and inside cabine.)

Not included:
- Child seat - 40,00 kn daily - max 180 kn per rental.
- Delivery / collection - free of charge in Vela Luka. To/from (one way) Korcula town 200 kn.
- A chauffeur drive service is availible, please enquire.

CANCELLATION OF RENT A CAR RESERVATION
In the case of cancellation of confirmed reservation for the car rental service, Agency charges the advance paid as confirmation of the reservation.

For all car groups the minimum age for drivers is 23 years. A valid driving licence, which has been held for at least one year, must be presented together with a passport or an acceptable national identity card.

The minimal rental charge is one day. Delays of up to one hour are not charged, however each additional hour is calculated at 1/5 of the daily rental tariff. Dailly rates are for 24 hours from start of the rental. On collection, all vehicles will have a full tank of petrol and should be returned as such, otherwise the difference in fuel spent will be charge, plus 50 kunas refuelling expanses.

Payment in cash require a deposit. Reservations are usually confirmed for car groups or types, and not for a specific model.
